I'm a little conflicted about digital art. Do you put it in the same category as hand drawn art? Maybe all that matters is that you see the hand of the artist and not what's in the hand. You can certainly see that hand in One Thousand Sketches. Some of the work is very graphic with bright flat colors and others you would swear you can see the pencil marks. And actually there are a few "real" pencil drawing there too. So have a look and enjoy your Saturday morning.
There are a few real pencil sketches on my sight, but not by me. I post other people's work - and state that as clearly as I can - but it is a bit confusing. Mine are all digital using the tablet PC as the medium. I bought the tablet for other reasons, but once I had that pen in my hand & that screen and half decent software I was away.
So I have set two frames - to do 1000 in a year - and to make them all digital to really get to "know" what this tech does.
When you say my hand to come through is major encouragement, appreciated - and from someone with a sure hand it is especially nice, thanks.
